Large Water Meter Testing, Evaluation and Maintenance

Our Polcon^® Services are designed to help a Utility in two areas. The Utility's master water meters must be tested to ensure accuracy as the water is delivered into the distribution system. Our services are also designed to retrieve and retain the large amounts of potential revenue that is associated with large industrial and commercial water meters. Through our Polcon^® Services using state of the art equipment, we can perform flow and pressure measurements that will determine your water meter's accuracy as well as usage and flow patterns for those meters.

Water Distribution System Leak Surveys and Pin-Pointing

Our Polcon^® Services are designed to determine leakage within a Utility's water distribution system. Our technicians use our state of the art equipment to perform flow measurements within specific zones in the distribution system. This allows us to determine flow and usage patterns within that zone thus determining the total usage and water loss within that zone.

Water Distribution System 24 hour Flow Testing, C-Factor Testing, Pump Curves and Head Loss

Using our Polcon^® Services along with state of the art equipment we can perform flow measurements programs that can help you determine consumption patterns, obtain Hazen-Williams "C" values for your hydraulic model and determine whether a water main is overloaded or under utilized. Our Polcon^® Services can also help you develop pump curves and head loss programs for your water plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and elevated tanks through flow and pressure measurements.

For all our Polcon^® Services we use Polcon^® Pitot Rods, Polcon^® Sentry flow recorders and Polcon^® Pacer pressure recorders to perform our flow and pressure measurements and analysis.
